There Was A Man Who Once Sang Solitaire

~~Blend by cindilu2~~

Friday, October 26th there will be a tribute for Neil Sedaka celebrating his fifty years of hits at Lincoln Center. Performers include Natalie Cole, Connie Francis, Clay Aiken, Dion, Captain & Tennille, Paul Shaffer, David Foster, Renee Olstead, The Bad Plus, Cousin Brucie Morrow, and Lou Christie.

Tickets and Info: http://www.sedaka50.com/

Clay will be singing "Solitaire", the song that Neil declared he had lost forever after he heard Clay sing it during competition on American Idol. Of course, there will be members of ClayNation there so hopefully we'll have video or at least a picture or two. It's been a while since the summer tour was over and while we've had the report of the Spamalot news, and promo for "Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader" there's nothing like a live performance to rev up the excitement in the fandom. This event is only the first of a many to which we can look forward with excitement. Good times ahead. :-))

Here's a Montage that plays tribute to Clay and to Neil:
